Who the heck is the Happy Humble Club?!
Share
Hey guys. Thanks for checking out the very first days of the Happy Humble Club. I'm your humble founder, Grady.
I figured if I had the gall to ask you to join this teensy, tiny little baby Club, the least I could do would be to introduce myself. So, yeah. Hi. Again. My name is Grady Spencer and I am a middle-aged human living in the beautiful land called Fort Worth, Texas with my wife and two kids. I'm a songwriter and musician by trade, but generally speaking, I just really, really enjoy making stuff. For the past 5 years, I've been able to live out my dreams and provide for my family by creating and performing music all over these United States. It's been absolutely incredible!
One major part of my job that I really enjoy is creating merch for my band, Grady Spencer & the Work. Through many, many hours of YouTube tutorials and failed attempts, I've finally gotten pretty decent at designing and (most times) printing my own merch out of my garage here in Fort Worth. But there has always been one glaring issue....I always felt pretty embarrassed to wear any of this rad stuff I was making. Nothing against anyone who enjoys wearing their own name on their attire, but it just wasn't for me.
That being said, I've always dreamed of creating some sort of side project where I can make stuff that I can wear proudly. And share. So just like the Koolaid man busting through a brick wall: HERE COMES THE HAPPY HUMBLE CLUB!
For the past couple of years, I've had the name 'Happy Humble Club' bouncing around in my ginormous noggin. It's catchy. It's a life goal to attain (more on that in future blogs). And no one's trademarked it yet! So here we are.
I wanna keep these posts concise and short, so that's all I'll say for now. But I absolutely cannot thank you enough for checking out this new little project baby of mine! Whether or not these clothes are for you, I'm super grateful for you even taking time to click the pixels that brought you here.
I can't wait to see this Club grow and can't wait to share more ideas I've got stewing!
Until then my friends, stay Happy & Humble.....
Grady
